Ms. Mattie Lucille Taylor

Mattie Lucille White Taylor, 87, of Mount Ida went to be with the Lord on April 30th, 2013. Lucille was born September 14, 1925 in the Fir community to Clint White and Dora McKinney White. Lucille (Memaw) was a Baptist with strong Christian beliefs and exhibited those beliefs constantly. An avid gardener, she loved to garden and share the bounty of her garden with others. Within the family, her Sunday dinners and the time spent together will always be cherished.
Memaw was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings: Glenna Bradley, Linnie Denny, Helen Warren, Berniece Clenney, Gene White, Everette White, Clifford White and one great granddaughter, Macie Taylor.
Memaw is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Leonard Loy of Little Rock, two sisters-in-law: Geral Dean White and Charlene White, one brother-in-law: Charles Bradley. Also by her children: PamelaTaylor, Angela Taylor, Tommy and Mary Anna Taylor of Houston, TX, Jimmy and Lizabeth Taylor of Mount Ida, Carol Taylor. Grandchildren: Brian and Denese Taylor of Katy, TX, Jeff and Michelle Taylor and Mark and Emily Taylor of Houston, TX, David and Christine Taylor of Austin, TX, Jeremiah and Renee Brown of Amity, AR, Joshua and Elisa Brown of Russellville, Ar and Matthew and Lisha Taylor of Mount Ida. Memaw is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will all remember her with fondness and will see her again one day.
Due to the excellent care given to Memaw by the staff of Montgomery County Nursing Home, it is requested in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Montgomery County Nursing Home in memory of Lucille Taylor. The address is: 741 South Dr. Mount Ida, AR 71957 for the Montgomery County Nursing Home Auxiliary.
